Hi there, I’m glad you’re here,

My goal and intention in coaching and development is to enable personal and professional growth and wellbeing at the individual level, as well as working with managers and leaders at the organisational level with humanistic leadership.

I’m Caroline Knight and I’m a personal development and midlife coach, master NLP practitioner and neuro-somatic coach. Yes I’m here for those specifically facing ‘midlife challenge ‘ and for those of a certain age, yes, we know who we are!

What brought you here today ?

I’m guessing, a desire or a need for change in your life, something different from where you are now.

You aren’t alone! When people are motivated to act, it’s often a need for answers or ‘solutions’ in life but don’t know how.

Or it’s something we want to change or shift away from ‘problems’ in our lives!

I work with people experiencing the often emotional and confusing aspects of their midlife

People often struggle in silence with many aspects of their day to day life.  They seek coaching to reduce stress, anxiety and confusion; instead seeking more physical, mental and emotional happiness, purpose and wellbeing.

I tend to work with women who are small business owners, women in management, leaders and HR professionals. Basically helping those with busy lives struggling to balance the demands of work, family and home life. 

 

I also work with organisations and leadership to develop a wellbeing cultural change and who want to support their people to better wellbeing.

 

We are all human and at times we struggle with negative thoughts or beliefs and fears that work against us. When really we simply want to be happier.

Sometimes a little help is all that’s needed to untangle what’s going on in our heads.

 

 I’ve been there too  and understand where you are. And it’s one of the reasons I chose to become a coach.  You are in exactly the right place! ….Coaching is truly powerful.

What shaped my journey?

I’m happy to share a few things, to get to know me before we work together:

My transition

 

I spent my whole life balancing life, health and work because of a chronic back issue. It prohibited me from so much as a young teenager and managing my life with it continues to challenge me even now.  I also know how debilitating thinking you can’t or you shouldn’t do things  because you think you can’t  or you are told you shouldn’t inhibits your life and your passions it certainly did for me.  I’m certain my formative years held me back from achieving my dreams but it also positioned me in my first career and then into coaching.   

I came to coaching around 2018 after a first career in Human Resources and People Development working with all levels within organisations and a range of sectors.  I have personal experience of the complexity, pressures and challenges in the world of work, health and the need to balance our life choices and I spent many years supporting people to do just that.

Around 2016 I ventured into self employment and continued as an HR consultant whilst re-training. Since then, I’ve developed and merged coaching styles and techniques and keep learning through my own personal and professional development. I’ve learned a lot about myself and about the power of coaching in the past few years and my passion is now to use that knowledge to benefit others.

I love working one-to-one with people,  supporting them to find their path with power, strength and clarity. Helping people become happier, healthier and more confident of a future full of possibility and opportunity.

More about me!

    • I have an adorable black cat that loves attention (as many will attest to during our virtual sessions!)
    • I’m a big sci-fi fan. Its my go to to de-stress. and veg out.  I love where science, imagination and curiosity intersect and fantastic realities begin.
    • I love motorbikes. They free my spirit, stress bust and make me happy;  and because I am generally a speed junkie. I have to say I’m also into cars too!
    • I love Nature and how it calms and connects with the mind and body
    • I am very slowly learning amateur photography.  Many of my site images are my own!
    • I volunteer in a rural mental health charity.

Respect  – we all have our own view and perspective.  Everyone’s view can be respected

Self awareness – offers greater clarity and creates more personal choice

Curiosity – the more we are curious to learn about ourselves, others and the world around us,  the greater we develop our deeper understanding

Resourcefulness – we are all naturally resourceful and have within us the ability to be happier and achieve more than we think possible
